Masala dosas
have always been my favorite. I keep trying it in various restaurants but I
always prefer going to Ganesh Darshan located in hot spot Jayanagar. I
remember it was started around 6 years back when I was in my college days. Now this
is a famous dosa camp in that area and you will love the dosas here. Can you
believe that 6 years back the prices of one dosa here was just 10 bucks? Now it
has doubled but the taste remains same and apart from dosa they also have other
varieties too but the menu is small (never mind).
Points to
Remember:
1.
This
is small place so don’t expect any seating facilities and also it is a
self-service counter.
2.
This
place is always crowded given any time of the day, so don’t hesitate to take
food and eat on the street.
3.
Don’t
judge by seeing the menu as its small.
4.
There
are no long queues here to wait for food as they try their best to serve faster
so just chillax and get into this darshan.
Reviews
As said
above this place is I demand for masala dosas. They are well roasted and the chutney
served is also very tasty but they don’t give sambar here for dosas. The next
item in the menu which I liked was akki rotti which is a roti made from rice
flour. It was tasty too but not very crispy. At noon even rice items such as
pulao are available for lunch. Bajjis are available too. Once you feel your
tummy is full with all good food here, you can make yourself cool by having
butter milk, it tastes good here. If you still don’t feel contended, take your
choice of food to home too. So all you dosa lovers and those of you who don’t
really love it too, go to this place once and enjoy the yummy food.
