Ingredients
·         Toor Dal - ½ tea cup
·         Tomatoes (chopped) - 4
·         Ghee/ Refined Butter - 1½ table spoon
·          Garlic Cloves (Paste) - 4
·         Tamarind
·         Rasam Powder – 3 table spoon
·         Water - 1½ cups
·         Coriander Leaves (for garnishing)
·         Salt (to taste)

Preparation:

·       In Pressure cooker cook toor dal, tomato pieces, tamarind by adding 1½ cup of water
·       Let it give 3 whistles.
·       Grind all the cooked ingredients
·       In a pan add the above grinded paste, rasam powder, coriander leaves, garlic paste, salt and ghee. Mix it well.
·      Boil the mixture for about 10 minutes and hot rasam is ready to serve.
